FILLOMINO

Privacy Policy

Applies to: Fillomino for Android (package com.xbitsnl.fillomino), published by xBitsNL Gaming.
Effective date: 1 September 2026  ·  Last updated: 6 September 2026

In short

1. Who we are

The data controller is xBitsNL Gaming (Jeroen Oudshoorn), the developer and publisher of Fillomino. Contact: oudshoorn.jeroen@gmail.com.

For advertising, analytics and in-app messaging, Fillomino uses Google services. Google acts as an independent controller or as our processor depending on the service and your region; each service is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

2. Data stored on your device

Fillomino stores the following on your device only, in the app’s private storage (Android DataStore). It is not transmitted to us:

This data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Unless you have purchased the ad-free upgrade, Fillomino displays banner and full-screen (interstitial) ads using Google AdMob. To serve, cap and measure ads, the AdMob SDK collects and sends to Google:

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Fillomino shows a Google-certified consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) before ads load, so you can allow or refuse personalised advertising. Where you refuse, or outside those regions where required, ads are limited to non-personalised (contextual) ads. You can reopen the consent options from the app’s Settings screen where offered, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Advertising policies. Buying the ad-free upgrade stops the AdMob SDK from loading and prevents this collection.

4. In-app purchase (“Remove ads”)

Fillomino offers a single one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes ads. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card number or billing address. Google provides the app with a purchase token and product identifier so it can confirm and restore your entitlement; the only thing Fillomino keeps is the on-device “remove ads” flag described in section 2. Purchases are governed by the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

5. Analytics and in-app messages (Google Firebase)

Fillomino uses Google Firebase for two purposes:

This data is sent to and processed by Google as our processor and is retained according to our Firebase configuration and Google’s Firebase privacy and security terms. Analytics collection follows your ad-consent choice where consent mode applies. You can also opt out of Google’s ad personalisation and reset the identifiers as described in section 3.

6. Data processed through Google Play Games Services

Fillomino offers optional online leaderboards using Google Play Games Services. You are only signed in if you choose to be; all single-player features, including the daily puzzle and your on-device streak, work without signing in.

If you sign in, Google processes, on our behalf as a Play Games developer:

These are used solely to display leaderboards inside Google’s Play Games interface. This processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Games terms. We do not receive your email address or Google account details. You can review or delete your Play Games data at myaccount.google.com and in the Play Games app settings.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given when you sign in. You can withdraw it at any time by signing out or by not using the leaderboards.

7. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

8. Permissions

Fillomino requests the INTERNET permission to contact Google AdMob, Firebase, Google Play Billing and Google Play Games. It declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission so the advertising identifier can be used for the advertising and analytics described above. Fillomino does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions.

9. What we do not do

Note: sharing device and advertising identifiers with Google for personalised advertising may be considered “sharing” or “sale” under some US state privacy laws. In the EEA and UK this only happens with your consent; elsewhere, you can limit it through your device’s ad settings.

10. Children

Fillomino is not directed at children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country), is not listed in Google Play’s Designed-for-Families programme, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads and analytics are configured for a general (non-child) audience. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Data retention

On-device data is kept until you delete it (uninstall or clear app data). Advertising, analytics and in-app-messaging data held by Google is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies and our Firebase and AdMob settings (Firebase Analytics event data is retained for a limited period configured in the Firebase console). Leaderboard data held by Google Play Games follows Google’s policies and your Google account settings.

12. International transfers

Google processes data for these services on servers that may be outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

13. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to data portability. Residents of some other regions (for example certain US states) have similar rights, including to opt out of targeted advertising.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app or on the Google Play listing. The Google Play Data safety section is kept consistent with this policy.
